Some effective male infertility treatments in Dhaka

Infertility specialists stated that the exact cause of male infertility is often unknown. However, there are treatments and procedures that your specialist will suggest to increase your chance of conception

  • Vasopididymostomy: This treatment involves splitting your vas deferens to remove blockage, and the ends of the tubes are reconnected.

  • Vasectomy reversal: This is one of the common procedures where the surgeon reconnects the vas deferens in the scrotum through which the sperms pass.

  • In vitro fertilisation: The egg is combined with the sperm during the IVF process. This treatment requires removing the ovum from the female ovaries and then allowing the sperm to fertilise them in a laboratory. For the next three to five days embryo development is monitored and then placed into the uterus.

  • Intracytoplasmic sperm injection: An infertility doctor in Dhaka reported that this procedure is the most effective treatment for fertility issues in males, and 90% of the males were able to have their child. It involves a single sperm getting injected into the egg directly.

Perceptions about male infertility treatments in Dhaka

Infertility specialists stated that men with infertility issues experience negative emotional pressure. This is due to social stigma surrounding the problem. Men are reported to have a loss of sense, and low self-esteem and, most of the times, are hesitant to receive any treatments.

Conclusion

Spouse support plays a key role to cope with infertility issues and is an important factor behind the other partner’s ability to get effective treatment results for infertility.
